The character of the unincorporated woman is interesting but with the already established universe and her seemingly omnipotent intelligence, it's hard to be surprised by anything she does. What was so great about the original work, was that although it was long-winded and maybe a little self-righteous with it's main character, it was never unsurprising. You never quite knew what Justin Cord would say.. and although some of that feeling still remains with Janet Black and even the Unincorporated woman.. the series is seriously hurting after the loss of it's catalyst and main character. I can't really care about Neela, Cord's brain-washed girlfriend, when Cord isn't around anymore. In a way, a lot of the character development comes to a complete halt because we no longer have the link to those characters. Once Justin Cord died, he took a lot of the series charisma with him....
